It is 10 minutes drive to the highway that comprises part of pan European transport corridor 5, and the city of Celje.
Vojnik is the largest settlement and centre of the municipality with the same name in eastern Slovenia. The population is 2,500. It is close to the city of Celje that lies between Ljubljana and Maribor.
Bars, restaurants, supermarkets, post office and other amenities are within walking distance.
